Warm Up: Dr. Ben Carson’s autobiography is entitled Gifted Hands. Dr. Carson feels God gave him a gift that he is obligated to use. What are your God-given gifts? What talents and/or skills do you possess? How are you using them? In what ways could you use them? Explain. (1/2 page minimum)
Classwork: Distribute novels, Gifted Hands. Then read aloud the introduction and chapter 1.
Homework: Read chapters 2 & 3 of Gifted Hands.

Classwork: Discuss chapters 2-3 then read aloud chapter 4.
Homework: Read chapters 5 & 6 of Gifted Hands.

Turn in it when finished.
